On the day the Nazi died They say the prisoner at Spandau Was a symbol of defeat Whilst Hess remained imprisoned And the fascists; they were beat So the promise of an Aryan world Would never materialize So why did they all come out of the woodwork On the day the Nazi died The world is riddled with maggots The maggots are getting fat.

Showbusiness! is a live album by anarchist punk band Chumbawamba. It was recorded on the 18 and 19 August at the Duchess of York in Leeds. In response to threats from fascists who rang the venue to say they'd turn up mob-handed and trash it "if Chumbawamba play", Leeds Anti-Fascist Action organised security.

The good news is that "Showbusiness" is just a great live recording, recorded in during their tour to support the "Anarchy" CD. You can hear the energy in the performance, and the musicianship is (with one exception) tremendous across the board.5/5(1).

The EMI years () Anarchy or not, the band signed to EMI by At EMI, Chumbawamba had brief mainstream success, with the singles Tubthumping and Amnesia, taken from Tubthumper.
