Author's note: Head for the Hills' is dedicated to Nicholas Costi, and is a spinoff of both his works and The King of the Hill Lost Episode. All original portions written by User:Cjaymarch King of the Hill was a great show, but awhile ago, as I was lazily shopping a thrift store.

Now, unless magic and spirits are real in the King of the Hill universe, Dale has to at least subconsciously know John Redcorn is Joseph's father for him to have that vision. It's possible that those thoughts have been pushed to the back of his head because knowing outright would be too distressing. Dale isn't the most mentally stable guy around.
